MYSTERY QUILT
Yep! Another Mystery Quilt is about to begin. This quilt is from Heather Spence Designs. It is a fund raiser to aid CANCER patients. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so I am reminding all of us to go get our mammograms. Prayers of support for all those battling breast cancer and all cancers.
I will be making the Mystery quilt and hope you will also join us. Go here to read about it and sign up!

Work on the Table!
Sometimes I mean to say all the time, fabric just reaches out and grabs me! Does that happen to you? Back in March, I saw these fabrics and just had to have them! They have been patiently waiting for me to make something of them…ha ha ha! Today this is on my table … “Something” is in progress, not quite sure what it will be. I also finally located that elusive EZ Dresden ruler!
Cut and sewn strips! Aren’t they so very luscious? I really love them.
This is the progress so far. What is it? I haven’t any idea…
Garden Party ! ! ! aka NYE Mystery Quilt
Here is the finished quilt! I am really excited, no, it isn’t my first quilt by any means. However, it is my first quilt long armed quilting adventure. What do you think?
Every week Michele of Quilting Gallery hosts a weekly theme week and this week is “Scrappy” quilts. Quilters send in photos of their quilts and a file is compiled and on Friday, one can vote for their favorite quilt. Please vote for my quilt! Thanks for viewing and please leave a comment. I love comments!

Now I can tell
you about a doll that I made for a blogger friend. The dear, sweet woman was visited by all kinds of just plain ole bad “stuff” the entire month of May. So I and another doll maker decided we would cheer her up by sending her a little something. It was a great joy to make this doll and send it to her. She was COMPLETELY surprised and awed! I only wish I could have been a fly on the wall when she opened that box!!! Lol…
Here is another pose of “June Tah’ – Hah’ – Net’ … read more about her here…. http://celebratingchristmasyearround.blogspot.com/2012/06/i-am-going-to-swallow-flies.html
